Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon on Wednesday said the government would take necessary steps soon for further development of the Uttara Gonobhaban in Natore.

“We would like to attract more tourists to see the historic Uttara Gonobhaban,” he said while visiting the palace.

Apart from the restricted area, the minister said all parts of Uttara Gonobhaban will be opened to publics soon.

The Uttara Gonabhaban, once known as Dighapatia Rajbari, was the royal palace of the Maharajas of Dighapatia during the 18th century.
