Trading of co shares to remain suspended today

Trading of several companies’ shares will remain suspended on its record date today (November 30, 2017).

Trading of their shares will resume on December 3, 2017.

The companies are Shurwid Industries Limited, Summit Power Limited, Unique Hotel & Resorts Limited, Meghna Petroleum Limited, Eastern Cables Limited, Matin Spinning Mills Limited, CVO Petrochemical Refinery Limited, Central Pharmaceuticals Limited and Anwar Galvanizing Limited.

AB Bank gets BSEC consent to raise Tk 4.0b capital

Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has given consent AB Bank Limited (AB Bank) to raise its Tier-II capital amounting to Tk 4.0 billion (400.00 crore) only through issuance of 7-year Non-Convertible, Unsecured, Coupon (range 7.0 per cent to 0.5 per cent or as fixed by the regulators) bearing AB Bank Subordinated Bond-III through private placement.

The consent has been accorded subject to the condition that the bank shall comply with the relevant laws and regulatory requirements, and also shall adhere to the conditions imposed under Section 2CC of the Securities and Exchange Ordinance, 1969.

ISNL board now meets today

The board meeting of Information Services Network Limited (ISNL) has been adjourned due to additional queries sought by the board members of the management.

The company’s adjourned meeting will now be held at 4:00pm today (November 30, 2017).

The company’s board members will consider, among others, its un-audited financial statements for the First Quarter (Q1) period that ended on September 30, 2017 in the meeting.

Tosrifa rated as ‘A+’ in long term

Credit Rating Information and Services Limited (CRISL) has rated Tosrifa Industries Limited (Tosrifa) as ‘A+’ in the long term and ‘ST-3’ in the short term along with stable outlook in consideration of its audited financials up to June 30, 2017, unaudited financials up to September 30, 2017 and other relevant quantitative as well as qualitative information up to the date of rating declaration.

Tallu Spinning Mills Limited (Tallu Spinning) has organised its board meeting at the company’s head office at 3:00pm on December 4, 2017.

The company’s board members will consider, among others, its un-audited financial statements for the First Quarter (Q1) period that ended on September 30, 2017 in the meeting.
