IBBL to issue Tk 7.0b bond

The Board of Directors of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited (IBBL) has taken decision to raise the Tier-II Capital of the bank under Basel-III through issuance of 7-year “Second Mudaraba Redeemable Non-Convertible Subordinated Bond” of Tk 7.0 billion.

The bond will be under Mudaraba principle of Islamic Shari’ah, subject to the approval of Bangladesh Securities & Exchange Commission (BSEC) and Bangladesh Bank (BB).

WMS record date today

Trading of the shares Western Marine Shipyard Limited (WMS) will remain suspended on its record date today (December 5, 2017 for extraordinary general meeting (EGM) and annual general meeting (AGM).

Trading of the WMS shares will resume on December 6, 2017.

KDSAL bonus shares credited

KDS Accessories Limited (KDSAL) has recently credited the bonus shares for its shareholders for the year that concluded on June 30, 2017 to their respective beneficiary owner (BO) accounts.

The company has also disbursed cash dividend to the shareholders’ bank accounts through Bangladesh Electronic Fund Transfer Network (BEFTN) system.

Trading of co shares

Trading of the following companies’ shares will be allowed only in the Spot Market and Block transactions will also be settled as per Spot settlement cycle with cum benefit from today (December 5) to December 6, 2017.

Trading of their shares will remain suspended on record date on December 7, 2017 for entitlement of interim dividend.

The companies are Bata Shoe Company (Bangladesh) Limited and Al-Haj Textile Mills Limited.

CMC Kamal holds AGM Dec 31

The 22nd annual general meeting (AGM) of CMC Kamal Textile Mills Limited (CMC Kamal) will be held at 12:00 noon on December 31, 2017 at Hotel Lake Breeze at Gulshan-2 in the capital.

Other information in connection with the AGM will remain unchanged.
