Sonali Aansh to give 10pc cash dividend

The Board of Directors of Sonali Aansh Industries Limited (Sonali Aansh) has recommended 10 per cent cash dividend for its shareholders for the year that concluded on June 30, 2017.

The Sonali Aansh’s annual general meeting (AGM) will be held at 11:30 am on December 31, 2017 at House No. 71 on Bir Uttam MA Rab Sarak in the city’s Dhanmondi R/A.

The company’s record date for the AGM is on December 20, 2017.

The company has also reported EPS of Tk 1.65, NAV per share of Tk 225.19 and NOCFPS of Tk 31.06 for the same year as against Tk 1.59, Tk 224.54 and Tk (35.33) respectively for the same period of the previous year.

Lub-rref’s road show for IPO in city tomorrow

Lub-rref (Bangladesh) Limited (Lub-rref) has arranged for a road show for its proposed initial public offering (IPO) under Book Building Method.

The road show will be held at 7:00 pm tomorrow (December 5, 2017) at Raddison Blu Dhaka Water Garden on Airport Road in Dhaka Cantonment.

Cos credit rating results

ACME Lab: Credit Rating Information and Services Limited (CRISL) has rated The ACME Laboratories Limited (ACME Lab) as ‘AA-’ in the long term and ‘ST-3’ in the short term along with a stable outlook in consideration of its audited financials up to June 30, 2017; un-audited financials up to September 30, 2017 and other relevant quantitative as well as qualitative information up to the date of rating declaration.

GPH Ispat: Credit Rating Agency of Bangladesh Limited (CRAB) has rated the entity (surveillance) of GPH Ispat Limited (GPH Ispat) as ‘AA3’ along with a stable outlook based on audited financial statements up to 30 June 2017; bank liability position as on September 30, 2017 and other relevant quantitative as well as qualitative information up to the date of rating declaration.

Fu-Wang Food AGM, EGM now Dec 29

The 21st annual general meeting (AGM) and 4th extraordinary general meeting (EGM) of Fu-Wang Foods Limited (Fu-Wang Food) will now be held at 10:00 am and 11:00 am respectively on December 29, 2017 instead of December 26, 2017.

Other information in connection with the company’s AGM and EGM will remain unchanged.

Meanwhile, trading of the shares of Fu-Wang Food will be allowed only in the Spot Market and Block transactions will also be settled as per Spot settlement cycle with cum benefit from today (December 4) to tomorrow (December 5, 2017).

Trading of the company’s shares will remain suspended on record date on December 6, 2017 for EGM and AGM.

Modern Dyeing reconstitutes board

As per resolution passed in the extraordinary general meeting (EGM) held on November 26, 2017, the Board of Directors of Modern Dyeing & Screen Printing Limited (Modern Dyeing) has been reconstituted including the appointment of Director from the General Shareholders.

Parvez Akhter Khanam has been elected Chairperson of the company’s board whereas Abdul Matin has been appointed its Managing Director.

Ibn Sina bonus shares credited

The Ibn Sina Pharmaceutical Industry Limited (Ibn Sina) credited the bonus shares for its shareholders for the year that ended on June 30, 2017 to their respective beneficiary owner (BO) accounts on Thursday (November 30, 2017).

The company’s cash dividend for the same year will be disbursed to the respective shareholders through electronic fund transfer (EFT), banking channel and registered courier systems as per rule.

Marico Bangladesh Limited (Marico BD) has disbursed 1st Interim Cash Dividend based on 6-month financials for its shareholders for the period that ended on September 30, 2017 to their respective bank accounts through Bangladesh Electronic Fund Transfer Network (BEFTN) system.

Confidence Cement’s EGM Jan 24

The Board of Directors of Confidence Cement Limited (Confidence Cement) has decided to convene an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) at 11:30 am on January 24, 2018 on its factory premises at Bhatiary in Chittagong to delete, add and replace some Clauses in the Articles of Associations of the company.

Peninsula Ctg gets land lease acceptance from BWDB

The Peninsula Chittagong Limited (Peninsula Ctg) has received land lease acceptance from Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB) to extend hotel facilities of a five Star ‘The Peninsula Chittagong-Airport Garden Hotel’ (under Construction) near to Chittagong Shah Amanat International Airport.

The company accepted lease allotment with the provision of renewal for further period of 3 years to take lease a land of 1.245 Acre; 1 to 3 year lease rent amount including security money, VAT and other cost is Tk 6,907,887.00.

CMC Kamal holds AGM Dec 31

The 22nd annual general meeting (AGM) of CMC Kamal Textile Mills Limited (CMC Kamal) will be held at 12:00 noon on December 31, 2017 at Hotel Lake Breeze at Gulshan-2 in the capital.
