The Canadian government has expressed its keen interest to invest in the aviation sector of Bangladesh and extend cooperation to Certification of Air Craft, Aviation safety and security.
The interest was shown when Canadian High Commissioner in Bangladesh Benoit Pre Fontaine made a courtesy call-on Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister AKM Shahjahan Kamal at his Secretariat office in the capital on Wednesday.
The Canadian government also expressed its keenness to supply Bangladesh aircraft adapted to Bangladesh climate, said an official release.
During the meeting, they also discussed about the supply of three Desh-8 aircraft by Bomberdier, an aircraft manufacturing unit of Canada.
Additional Secretaries of the Civil Aviation and Tourism Ministry Md Imran and AHM Ziaul Haque also attended the meeting.
