BKB recovers Tk 4.75b on Baishakhi halkhata

Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) arranged ‘Shuvo Halkhata’ in all of its 1031 branches recently.

A number of 1,29,581 loanees repaid loans worth Tk 4.75 billion of which Tk. 861.7 million was classified.

During the festival, BKB disbursed fresh loan of Tk. 3.90 billion among 26,470  borrowers.

An amount of new deposit of Tk 2.04 billion was also mobilised on the occasion from 30,336 depositors.

These financial earnings are the highest ever of BKB Halkhata programme so far.

The chairman of the Board of Directors Mohammad Ismail and the Managing Director Md. Ali Hossain Prodhania expressed gratitude to all the customers & well-wishers for the tremendous response and greeted all the employees, said a statement.
