Result : Bangladesh Women won by 25 runs. Bangladesh Women clinched the title of Women’s World T20 Qualifier 2018 by beating Ireland Women by 25 runs thanks to Panan Ghosh’s 5-wicket haul. Both Bangladesh and Ireland are qualified for the upcoming Women’s WT20 2018 in November.

Winning the toss, Ireland invited Bangladesh to bat first. After the departure of Shamima on 16, Ayasha and Fargana made an partnership of 52 in the 2nd wicket.

But after the dismissal of Ayasha on 46, others failed to score big as the Tigresses lost wickets in regular interval. Lucy Oreilly’s career-best 4 for 22 restricted Bangladesh to 122 for 9 in 20 overs.

In reply Ireland did not have the ideal start as they lost 6 wickets for 54 inside 12 overs. Eimear Richardson tried to put some fightback with her knock of 23 but it was not enough as Ireland were eventually all out for 97 in 18.4 overs.

Panna Ghosh bagged 5 wickets for 16. She became the second Bangladesh player after Jahanara Aalam to claim hat-trick in Women’s T20 Internationals.
