Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Saturday extended her heartiest congratulation to Bangladesh cricket team for defeating Sri Lanka in the tri-nation T20I Nidahas Trophy match.

The Tigers registered an overwhelming five-wicket victory over hosts Sri Lanka at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

In a congratulatory message, Sheikh Hasina greeted all the players, coach and officials of the national team as well as Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) officials concerned for defeating Sri Lanka.

The premier expressed the hope that the winning spree of the Bangladesh cricket team would continue in future.
