An inception workshop on creating lessons learned and best practice video documentation was held under the Climate Resilient Infrastructure Mainstreaming Project (CRIMP) implemented under the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED).

The workshop was organized by the Climate Resilient Local Infrastructure Center (CRILIC) under the CRIMPE Project on Thursday (April 23) at the seminar room of LGED headquarters.

LGED Chief Engineer Md. Belal Hossain was present as the chief guest at the workshop organized under the chairmanship of Md. Azharul Islam, Additional Chief Engineer of LGED and Director of CRILIC.

He said, "This work will not just produce some videos or print materials but will create a well-organized knowledge-based presentation, which will serve as a replicable model for future LGED projects. These documentaries and fact sheets can be used as valuable references for policymakers, development partners, local government institutions and relevant stakeholders."

Team Leader Pankaj Palit, Planning and Business Development Manager Didarul Alam, and Assistant Manager Client Service Nafis Mohammad of Arani Advertising Ltd., the consulting firm engaged for the assignment in the workshop, presented their speeches through PowerPoint.

LGED's Additional Chief Engineers Syeda Asma Khatun, Kazi Saiful Kabir, Md. Wahiduzzaman, former Additional Chief Engineer Md. Ahsan Habib, Supervising Engineer Md. Anisul Wahab Khan, Md. Akhtar Hossain, and project directors, executive engineers, and senior assistant engineers of various projects were present in this workshop.

Among others; Crimp-Crylic Project Director Md. Abdul Khalek, Crylic Executive Engineer Md. Latif Hossain and Executive Engineer Fatema Ismat Ara, Assistant Engineer Arpan Pal and Crylic Expert Consultants Md. Abdul Noor, Md. Shahidul Islam, Md. Sadequr Rahman Bhuiyan, Md. Masudur Rahman and Syed Mahbub Ahsan were also present at the workshop.
