Depositors can now be able to pay their due installments of DPS (deposit pension scheme) and other savings schemes for the months of April and May, 2020 by the 20th of this month (June) without any surcharge.

Besides, if any surcharge is taken for the delayed payment of installments for the months of last April and May, the amount has to be refunded or readjusted.

Bangladesh Bank issued a circular to this effect on Monday.

Any DPS or savings scheme cannot be stopped or cancelled upon failure to pay such installments for the said months, according to the circular.
