The owners want to operate launches from April 29 following health rules at the end of the ongoing lockdown.

They made their demands to the government in this regard.

The Ministry of Shipping and the BIWTA are awaiting the decision of the Cabinet Division to this end.

The lockdown will end at midnight on April 28. Meanwhile, responding to the owners' demands, the government has agreed to open shops and shopping malls from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sunday (April 25) in compliance with health regulations.

The owners have demanded to run the buses from April 29.
