Health sector sees a proposal of Tk 38,052cr allocation

The health sector of the country has seen a proposal of Tk38,052 crore allocation in the budget for 2023-24 fiscal year.
In 2022-23 fiscal year, the allocation for the health sector in the budget was Tk36,863 crore.
Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal unveiled a Tk 7,61,785 crore proposed national budget for the 2023–24 fiscal year in the national parliament on Thursday.
The proposed budget will be 15.2 percent of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
