Bangladesh's official Hajj operations are set to commence on Friday, April 17, 2026, at 12:30 AM, with the first flight carrying 419 pilgrims. Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will officially inaugurate the journey, for which final preparations are currently underway at the Ashkona Hajj Camp.

This year, a total of 78,500 pilgrims from Bangladesh will perform Hajj. A crucial update for this year is the mandatory 'Nusuk Card,' a digital ID required to access all services in Saudi Arabia. While private pilgrims are receiving their cards in Bangladesh, those under government management will obtain theirs from their respective hotel lobbies in Saudi Arabia.
