An official of Health Ministry has been infected with the novel coronavirus. 

Sources at the Institute of Epidemiology Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) said that some of the high officials of the ministry have been asked to go into home quarantine as they came into contact with the infected official. 

"This person was among the five new cases of coronavirus in the country," an IEDCR official said. 

IEDCR is trying to identify the people who came into contact with him, the official added.
