State Minister for Liberation War Affairs, Engineer Ishraque Hossain, emphasized on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, that as an elected representative, he serves all citizens regardless of their political affiliation.

Speaking at a Baishakhi concert at Kabi Nazrul Government College, he expressed his gratitude to the students and constituents of the Dhaka-6 seat for their support.

The Minister announced plans to renovate the college’s aging infrastructure in coordination with the Education Minister and pledged to build a monument at the college gate to honor the four students who martyred during the 2024 mass uprising.

He also stressed the importance of modernizing the education system and fostering a campus environment free from drugs and terrorism.
