The cabinet has directed authorities concerned to complete ongoing gas pipeline works across the country.

The order was given at the cabinet meeting held at the Prime Minister's Office on Monday. It was presided over by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

After the meeting, Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam briefed the media on the details of the meeting.

The secretary said that the gas pipeline work is going on in many places and the cabinet gave instructions to complete these works quickly.
