6 Bangladeshis burnt alive in Saudi Arabia cylinder blast

Six Bangladeshi workers burnt alive and one was wounded in a fire at a house in the Saudi Arabian city of Ha'il early Thursday.

The deceased were identified as Jasim Uddin, 26, and his brother Md Ibrahim, 23, sons of Nesar Uddin, hailed from Laxmipur, Emranul Haque Sohel, 34, and his brother Imamul Haque Munna, 22, sons of late Abdul Haque, hailed from Cumilla, Md Sohel, 30, hailed from Cumilla, and Mohiuddin Rashed, 35, hailed from Feni.

Bangladesh embassy second secretary (press) Fakhrul Islam said the fire broke out at the house as cylinder exploded in Holaifa area early hours when the workers were sleeping, leaving six dead on the spot and one injured.

Injured one Bangladeshi was admitted to a hospital in the city.
