CSE removes contract charge on trade

The port city's bourse has decided to withdraw the contract charge and restructure the existing commission charge on trade effective from July 1.

The Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) has reviewed its existing commission charge to a flat 0.023 per cent.

The decision was taken at a board meeting held Wednesday, officials said.

As per the decision, contract charges for any trade, commission charges for normal trade will be 0.023 per cent and commission charges for bulk & foreign trade (above 5.0 million in a single contract) will be 0.004 per cent, says a press release.
