BIDA adds three new services to its OSS

Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) on Wednesday formally launched three new services to its virtual One Stop Service (OSS) portal to help facilitate investment procedure in the country.

The new services are applicants’ National Identity Card (NID) verification, security clearance and land clearance.

Prime Minister’s Private Industry and Investment Affairs Advisor Salman Fazlur Rahman formally inaugurated the integration of the services, while Md Sirazul Islam, the BIDA executive chairman presided over the ceremony.

Md. Shahid Ullah Khandaker, Secretary to the Housing and Public Works Ministry Md Shahiduzzaman, secretary to the security services division, and Md Alamgir, secretary to the Bangladesh Election Commission spoke on the occasion.

Salman Fazlur Rahman said the move will help to achieve significant progress in the ease of doing business index of the World Bank.
