BD Int'l Marine and Offshore Expo-2023 begins tomorrow
Aiming to promote sustainable economic development and enhance Dutch-Bangladeshi business partnerships in the Maritime sector, a three-day long Bangladesh International Marine and Offshore Expo (BIMOX) 2023 is going to begin from Thursday at International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), Dhaka.
Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury MP, State Minister for Ministry of Shipping, as the chief guest will inaugurate the expo on Thursday morning at ICCB while Thijs Woudstra, Chargé d'affaires, Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands , different stakeholders would be present at the ceremony.
During the 3-days “Maritime Future is Now: The Netherlands Approach to New Opportunities” a series of events will be organized, including a business networking event, seminar and match making to facilitate knowledge exchange and promote partnerships. In Hall-02 of the ICCB, Dhaka the first ever Netherlands Pavilion in Bangladesh is located. There will be insight in trends and developments, networking and matchmaking sessions as well.
Experts will discuss different issues including shipbuilding, port infrastructure, maritime, delta technology and many more.
The BIMOX 2023 exhibition and Netherlands pavilion will be opened for all the visitors and the programme will continue till Saturday, 14th October 2023. During the last day of the Netherlands Maritime event business to business meetings are conducted throughout the day offering matchmaking opportunities.
