Metrological dept and BTV, Betar should be under an independent commission
Jingoism is not good at all. In last 48 hours in social media especially even in popular news paper, trying to portrait that India is responsible for this flood. They have not given any warning that flood gate of different dams in India has opened.
My logic is that, now a days even for a normal or without weather expertism any one can monitor where rains will be in the continent, when it will be occurred and which directions the wind and in which speed.
There are a lot of weather websites ( eg, accuwether, yahoo, Samsung) connected to satellite are available for free. They gives you forecast hour by hour. If you pay small money you will get premium quality. You can get those in your mobile phone.
If there are rains in Tripura, (please note that, even sitting in Dhaka, I can get all weather information of Charfassion and Coxsbazar) which could have been monitored through websites. Then why our weather expert have not been able to give early warining. If there are water raise measurements point whole over the country, why they have failed.
Metrological department and Water Development Board has failed on this, they should be accountable.
Metrological department and our Bangladesh Betar, Television should be under an independent commission.
Ultra nationalism has not yielded any result in the history. We have to cautions, some time anti-Indian sentiment turn to communal sentiment. May be one can change everything, but can not change Neighbour.
At the end, we are all human being. Our selling point is, we are a knowledge based peaceful nation. So, thereby no jingoism, no hyper activism and no hyper loyalism.
