ONE Bank gives scholarships to poor but meritorious students

ONE Bank as part of its CSR activities distributed scholarships among the financially insecure but meritorious students of various educational institutions in Rajshahi, Sirajganj, Rangpur and Bogra districts at a programme held at Poura Shahid Titu auditorium in Bogra, said a news release.

ONE Bank board of directors’ chairman Sayeed H Chowdhury distributed the scholarships.

M Fakhrul Alam, managing director of the bank, gave the welcome speech.
Sayeed informed the audience that ONE Bank has been working as a co-partner towards the development and welfare of society by ensuring education for financially insecure but meritorious students for spreading the light of education.

Zahur Ullah, chairman of executive committee of the bank, also spoke on the occasion and Wakar Hasan, deputy managing director of the bank, gave the vote of thanks at the programme.

Senior executives of the bank, parents of the scholarship recipients, teachers and elites of the locality were present in the programme.
