28 gold bars seized at Dhaka airport

Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate (CIID) seized twenty-eight gold bars weighing around 3.248kgs from a flight at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Friday afternoon.
The gold bars were found under a seat of Biman flight BG-5046 which arrived from Dubai at 1:59 am, sources said.
The estimated market value of the bars is over Tk 2.8 crore.
A case has been filed in this connection.
