Acting on specific inputs, Airport and Airfreight unit personnel of Chattogram Customs House carried out a search drive on flight BG-147 of Bangladesh Biman Airlines at around 7:00 pm.

The investigation led to the recovery of the foreign currencies from a bag at the overhead bin of a seat.

Biman Bangladesh Security and APBn assisted customs officials during the drive.

Airport and Airfreight unit Assistant Commissioner (AC) Akram Hossain said the flight flew in from Dhaka and was scheduled to fly for Dubai via Chattogram.
