1,600 kg 'KHAT' shipment was caught At Dhaka Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport


At Dhaka Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, a new type of drug 'KHAT' or NPS shipment was caught. The police has seized an invoice of 1,600 kg 'KHAT' during an operation at the Crime Investigation Department (CID) Airport. Today, information is available on Tuesday.

CID Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Sharmin Jahan confirmed the information.

Sharmin Jahan said in the first light that the 'Shot' ship from Ethiopia came to Dhaka via the Foreign Post Office of the airport cargo unit. Based on intelligence, secrecy crime branch of CID seized the shipment.

However, when the shipment was seized, CID did not say anything about it.

Earlier, more than one shipment of 'Shot' was seized at Shahjalal International Airport.

National Security Intelligence Agency (NSI) seized 135 kilogram 'bed' from the Foreign Post Office of the Airport Cargo Unit on Monday morning.

In the joint operation of the Dhaka Custom House and the National Security Agency at the airport last Saturday, 160 kg 'cottage' was seized.

On August 31, the Department of Narcotics Control Department seized 467 kilograms of 'bed' from the airport. One person named Nazimuddin (45) was arrested in connection with this. On this day, more than 394 kg of cottage bags were seized from the office of Shantinagar office of Nazimuddin.

Officials of the Department of Narcotics Control say that a 'small' look is like a cup of tea and leaves. It is consumed by mixing with water and making it fluid. The reaction is very much like Yaba. This 'bed' or NPS is made from a type of tree. It is a category of 'B' category drug. The trees are found in African countries of Djibouti, Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Somalia, Yemen.
