8th graders to be promoted as per schools' assessment

Students of class eight will be promoted to the next class as per the assessment of their respective academic institutions, said Dhaka Education Board Chairman Prof Md Ziaul Haque.

Emerging from the meeting, Prof Ziaul Haque said that no JSC and JDC examinations will be held this year due to coronavirus pandemic.  

Chairmen of all education boards took the decision regarding the promotion of class eight students of the country in a meeting on Thursday.
