Country’s 25 lakh students to avail distance learning

Twenty-five lakh students from pre-primary to class ten of the country are being brought under distance learning facilities.

The cost of the project for distance learning has been estimated at Tk 128.40 crore.

The Global Partnership for Education (GPE), a sister organisation of the World Bank, will provide Tk 126.54 crore for the total expenditure of the project. The rest will come from the government exchequer.

This project has been taken in hand in a bid to overcome the present coronavirus situation.

The Global Partnership for Education (GPE) basically works for the development of education across the world as a partner organisation of the World Bank.
