No extra admission and tuition fees for new academic session


Admission and tuition fees of educational institutions of the country will not be enhances from the upcoming session.

Monthly Payment Order (MPO) of educational institutions will be cancelled if any institution charges extra fees from the students amid coronavirus pandemic.

The issue is being included in the admission policy for the academic session of 2021.

Media report revealed that a number of changes have been made in the admission policy for students of class one to eight due to corona pandemic.

Three-tier committee will work to check any kind of irregularities in terms of admission. Besides, school managing committee, teacher and representative from guardian side will look after the admission process.

As per the admission policy of schools, admission fee Tk 200 has been fixed for private schools like current academic session. The tuition fee for the students has not been increased as pandemic is still prevailing.
