The Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources offered internship opportunities to some 165 more youths from public and private universities under the 'Vision 2021 Internship" initiative.

The offer was made after 100 youths completed their three-month internship at the ministry at the initiative of leading youth platform -Young Bangla- which is being run by Awami League's research wing Centre for Research and Information (CRI), said a press release.

A certificate distribution ceremony of the 100 interns and freshers' reception of new interns was held at the Bidyut Bhaban in the capital on Monday.

State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid attended the function as the chief guest while CRI senior policy analyst Shah Ali Farhad also spoke on the occasion.

Nasrul Hamid said the internship facility will build a bridge between youths and government offices which will bring a vast opportunity to acquire practical knowledge on how the offices are operated and about the works of the officials and employees.
