300 couples got married in war-torn Gaza in a single day

In a heartwarming display of resilience amidst the devastation in Gaza, a mass wedding for 300 couples was held in Central Gaza on Friday, April 24, 2026, with the support of the United Arab Emirates.

Orchestrated under the UAE's "Gallant Knight 3" humanitarian program, the event aimed to assist those unable to marry due to financial hardships exacerbated by the ongoing conflict.

Approximately 20,000 people, including families, local leaders, and international aid workers, gathered to witness the ceremony, which blended traditional Palestinian customs with songs of national pride.

Beyond the nuptials, the couples received essential gifts and financial aid to help them rebuild their lives in the war-torn enclave.
