48 districts under partial or complete lockdown

The government has put 48 districts of the country under partial or complete lockdown to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus. 

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) published the updated list of the districts on Saturday night.

The districts that are completely locked down are - 

1. Gazipur
2. Gopalganj
3. Kishoreganj
4. Narayanganj
5. Narsingdi
6. Rajbari
7. Shariatpur
8. Tangail
9. Cox's Bazar
10. Cumilla
11. Lakshmipur
12. Noakhali
13. Chandpur
14. Brahmanbaria
15. Rajshahi
16. Rangpur
17. Panchagarh
18. Gaibandha
19. Nilphamari
20. Dinajpur
21. Lalmonirhat
22. Chuadanga
23. Barisal
24. Sylhet
25. Habiganj
26. Moulvibazarand
27. Sunamganj. 

The districts that are under partial lockdown are -

2. Faridpur
3. Manikganj
4. Madaripur
5. Munshiganj
6. Mymensingh
7. Netrokona
8. Jamalpur
9. Sherpur
10. Kurigram
11. Thakurgaon
12. Khulna
13. Bagerhat
14. Jashore
15. Narail
16. Kushtia
17. Patuakhali
18. Bhola
19. Barguna 
20. Pirojpur
21. Jhalokathi. 

The death toll has risen to 75 from the virus – and a total of 1,838 people have been infected so far in the country.
