Natore’s Singra upazila put under lockdown

The local administration has put Singra Health Complex and Singra upazila under lockdown as two health workers of the hospital have tested positive for coronavirus.

Nasrin Banu, upazila nirbahi officer of Singra, came up with the announcement on Wednesday.

Five people, including the two health workers, were diagnosed with COVID-19 in the upazila on Tuesday, FT reports.

The houses of the infected people and Gurudaspur union were also put under lockdown.

With this, eight people have so far been infected with COVID-19 in the district.
