38th BCS final results likely this afternoon

The final result of 38th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations under Public Service Commission (PSC) will be published on Tuesday afternoon.

The BPSC has called an emergency meeting at 3:00 pm on Tuesday in this regard.

If the results approved in the meeting, it will be published on its website today, Ishrat Sharmin, Public Relations Officer of BPSC said.

The authorities have already completed all preparation to publish the results, she said.

Earlier, a total of 9,862 candidates sat for viva voce after passing written examinations.

The written examinations were held on 13 August last year and the preliminary exam took place on 29 December, 2017. As many as 389,469 jobs seekers applied against 2,024 posts.
