Oman lifts entry ban on Bangladeshis

In a significant development, Oman on Thursday lifted restrictions on the entry of Bangladeshi workers into that country.

“This is a very good news for us. We have just received their letter in this regard” Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen told the newsmen at his office in the morning.

Earlier on Wednesday, Saudi Arabia announced the extension of work permits for Bangladeshi workers for 24 days.
