Bangladesh reports six Covid deaths, 368 cases in 24 hrs

Bangladesh reported six more deaths from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours until Wednesday morning, taking the tally to 27,791, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The number of detected novel coronavirus cases, according to the DGHS, rose to 1,566,664 as 368 more cases were reported in the last 24 hours.

The rate of detection in the last 24 hours until 8:00am dropped to 1.80 per cent from yesterday’s 2.20 per cent.

The health directorate said a total of 481 people recovered from the highly infectious disease in the last 24 hours, taking the number of the total recovery to 1,529,549.

Of the people who died in the last 24 hours, four were male and two female.

Among the Covid-19 patients who died in that time, three were in Chattogram and two in Rajshahi and one in Khulna.
