Dope tests to be compulsory before university admissions: Home minister
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said dope tests will be made compulsory for students during university admission by amending the law.
The minister made the announcement at a press conference on the occasion of "International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, 2022" at the Secretariat on Sunday.
“Before admissions to respective universities, a student has to undergo medical tests, which would also include dope tests,” he said.
Mentioning that it requires infrastructure development carry out this programme extensively, and they have started to implement it.
