Osman Hadi shooting suspect Masud’s bank accounts frozen

The Central Intelligence Cell (CIC) of the National Board of Revenue (NBR) has frozen all bank accounts of Faisal Karim Masud alias Daud Khan, and his IT firm, Apple Soft IT Limited.

He is suspected in an attempted murder of Sharif Osman Hadi, spokesperson of Inquilab Mancha and a potential independent candidate for the Dhaka-8 constituency.

A source associated with NBR confirmed the matter on Sunday (14 December).

Faisal Karim Masud’s firm is a member of BASIS.

Osman Hadi is currently receiving treatment at Evercare Hospital in the capital. His condition is reported to be critical, according to the medical board formed over overseeing his treatment.
