A fire broke out at Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) kitchen market in Gulshan area early Saturday.
The fire broke out around 5:45am.
On information, 20 fire-fighting units rushed in and doused the fire around 8:25am, said senior station officer Khurshid Anwar of fire service and civil defence.
Army and Navy members also joined the fire service teams in dousing the fire.
However, no casualty was reported, said the official.
It is not still clear what caused the fire.
