Four Tigers in IPL auction

Four Bangladeshi players – Shakib Al Hasan, Mustafizur Rahman, Mohammad Saifuddin and Mahmudullah made it to the final list of 292 cricketers, who are set to go under the hammer in Chennai on February 18 in the IPL 2021 player auction.

Earlier, 1114 cricketers had initially registered for the auction and the final list was then pruned after the eight franchises submitted their shortlisted players.

Shakib is one of the eight overseas players, who has chosen to be slotted in the highest bracket of Rs 2 crores.

Mustafizur has been placed with a base price of Rs 1 crore while Mahmudullah and Saifuddin have slotted with a base price of Rs 75 lakhs and 50 lakhs respectively.
