US-Bangla Airlines will add two brand new aircraft to its fleet in January as part of a plan to increase its flight frequency on domestic routes.

The new ATR 72-600 aircraft – the 12th and 13th planes of the company -- will join the private airline directly from France.

Currently, the company has 11 aircraft - including four Boeing 737-800 and three DASH8-Q400 and four ATR 72-600 - the largest fleet among the countries private airlines.

Managing Director of the US-Bangla Airlines Mohammed Abdullah Al Mamun said, "In the present world, there is no alternative to brand new aircraft to provide proper service to passengers."

He further said the company always add new aircraft to its fleet to ensure comfortable service for passengers.

"This is the first airline of the country, which is operating flights with brand new aircraft on its domestic routes."
