AL leader Bahauddin Nasim’s mother dies of Covid-19

Nurjahan Begum, mother of Awami League Joint General Secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim, died from coronavirus infections at a hospital in the capital on Friday morning.

She breathed her last at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Combined Military Hospital (CMH) while undergoing treatment this morning.

Khalid Hossain, mayor of Madaripur municipality, another son of the deceased, confirmed the matter to media.

She was admitted to the hospital after tested positive for the virus few days ago, he said.

Nurjahan Begum received Ratnagarbha Awards in 2019.
