Health Ministry orders to evacuate DMCH Burn Unit
It is being presumed that the unit would be used as an isolation centre for Covid-19 patients, said Dr Samanta Lal

The Health Ministry on Friday directed the authorities concerned to evacuate the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
The ministry has asked to shift the patients of the unit to Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn And Plastic Surgery.
The shifting will begin from tomorrow, Dr Samanta Lal Sen, founder of the DMCH burn unit, said.
The ministry, however, did not explain why the evacuation order was given.
But it is being presumed that the unit would be used as an isolation centre for Covid-19 patients, said Dr Samanta Lal.
