2 govt employees arrested over UNO attack

The law enforcers arrested them in front of Ghoraghat Upazila Parishad

Police on Monday arrested two government employees in connection with the attack on Ghoraghat Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Wahida Khanam and her father freedom fighter Omar Ali Sheikh.    

The law enforcers arrested them in front of Ghoraghat Upazila Parishad yesterday.

The arrestees are identified as Yasin Ali (30), a driver of upazila land office, and Arsola Hembrom (38), a cleaner of upazila parishad.

Ghoraghat Police Station officer-in-charge Md Amirul Islam said, “We have detained them for interrogation on suspicion of attack on Ghoraghat UNO and her father.”
