ACC seeks wealth information of ‘Golden Monir’, wife

The ACC has asked to place their statement within 21 working days

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has sought the wealth information of the arrested gold trader Monir Hossain alias 'Golden Monir' and his wife Raushan Akhter.

The ACC has asked to place their statement within 21 working days, Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya, Public Relations Officer of the ACC revealed this information on Thursday.

According to notice, it has been asked to provide information of all movable/ immovable property, liabilities, and sources of income and details of their acquisition in their own name/ anonymity.

Measures would be taken against them under the ACC Act if they fail to provide the information on assets within the stipulated time or if they place a false statement, the notice added.
