Dealer held in Satkhira for selling rice in black market

The arrestee is Mujib Sana, son of Shaizzudin Sana was arrested with 42 sacks of rice weighing 1,270kg.

A dealer was arrested for selling rice in black market intended to be sold among the poor under the government's fair price programmes from Borodal Bazar in Ashashunu upazila on Wednesday morning.

The arrestee is Mujib Sana, son of Shaizzudin Sana.

Abdus Salam, officer-in-charge of Ashashuni Police Station, said a team of police conducted a drive in the bazar and arrested him with 42 sacks of rice weighing 1,270kg.

A case was filed against Sana and one Shahjan Gazi in this connection.
