Customs officials detained seven men along with 7 kilograms of gold from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital on Tuesday morning.
The detainees were returning from Dubai but their identities could not be known yet.
Iftekhar Alam, assistant director of the airport, confirmed the matter.
