Remittance inflow rises by 46 percent in September

Bangladesh earned remittance $6.71 billion during the first three months (July-September) of the current fiscal year

Migrant Bangladeshi workers from different countries of the world sent home $2.15 billion in September this year, registering a 45.64 percent year-on-year growth compared to $1.47 billion remitted in the same month last year.

In August this year, Bangladesh earned USD 1.96 billion in remittance. The amount was $ 2.50 billion in July.

The latest data of the central bank revealed that the country earned remittance $6.71 billion during the first three months (July-September) of the current fiscal year.
