BMA President Mostafa Jalal tests Covid-19 positive

"Currently receiving treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for Covid-19"

Dr Mostafa Jalal Mohiuddin, president of Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA), has been diagnosed positive with the novel coronavirus.

Confirming the matter to media, BMA Secretary General Dr Ehteshamul Haque Chowdhury said that he is currently receiving treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for Covid-19.

"Dr Mostafa was suffering from fever and cough since Friday and on Monday his test result for Covid-19 turned out positive," Dr Ehteshamul said, adding, "His condition is stable now, although he is still suffering from fever."
