Visitors not allowed in hospitals: DGHS

“We have instructed all hospitals not to allow visitors until further notice, as coronavirus can spread through visits”

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) asked all hospitals across the country on Saturday to bar visitors from entering the premises amid the fear of coronavirus spread. 

"We have instructed all hospitals not to allow visitors until further notice, as coronavirus can spread through visits," DGHS Director (Hospital & Clinic) Dr. Aminul Hasan said. 

The second death of a coronavirus patient was announced in Bangladesh today.

Four new patients were diagnosed with the virus in the last 24 hours, increasing the total number to 24.
