Armed forces medical team reaches Kuwait to help fight COVID-19: ISPR

A Bangladesh armed forces medical team, along with necessary healthcare logistics, reached Kuwait recently in order to help fight the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the oil-rich gulf country.

A Bangladesh armed forces medical team, along with necessary healthcare logistics, reached Kuwait recently in order to help fight the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the oil-rich gulf country.

The team was sent as a good gesture of friendship on Thursday, said the Inter Services Public Relations Directorate (ISPR) in a statement on Saturday.

Earlier, under Operation Kuwait Punargathan (OKP), Kuwait government had requested Bangladesh Armed Forces seeking a medical team to help fight the deadly virus.
